Register of Exercise Professionals
The Register of Exercise Professionals (REPs) has been set up to help safeguard the health
and interests of people who are using the services of exercise and fitness instructors,
teachers and trainers. The Register uses a process of self-regulation that recognises
industry-based qualifications, practical competency, and requires fitness professionals to
work within a Code of Ethical Practice. Members of the Register are given a card and
registration certificate to prove their qualification and membership. Also known as the
Exercise Register it operates in the UK and across the world to recognise personal
achievement and competencies of qualified fitness professionals.

Pilates |

Pilates (pil-aah-teez) aims to strengthen postural muscles and realign the body.
It will improve flexibility, strength, joint mobility, balance and alignment. Be aware,
learning Pilates with myself will change your posture and poise!!
I teach many different disciplines in clubs, leisure centres, homes and offices. I am
always learning by keeping up with the latest teaching techniques by attending a number of
professional courses throughout the year.
Throughout our lives, most of us work behind a desk and therefore, sit
most of the day. If you think about it, our day revolves mostly around sitting down, which
can lead to bad posture etc.
Pilates will strengthen the back as it creates a strong centre. This will also help
prevent and cure back problems.
