Register of Exercise Professionals
The Register of Exercise Professionals (REPs) has been set up to help safeguard the health and interests of people who are using the services of exercise and fitness instructors, teachers and trainers. The Register uses a process of self-regulation that recognises industry-based qualifications, practical competency, and requires fitness professionals to work within a Code of Ethical Practice. Members of the Register are given a card and registration certificate to prove their qualification and membership. Also known as the Exercise Register it operates in the UK and across the world to recognise personal achievement and competencies of qualified fitness professionals.

I went to Dawn after having my third child, I was suffering with a rectal split. My Doctor told me that I could either have an operation or that I would have to do hundreds of sit-ups for the rest of my life. The sit-up's were not working and I did not fancy having an operation. My stomach split was three fingertips wide, this has now reduced and is about one and a half fingertips wide, which is a fairly normal size after childbirth. I cannot thank Dawn enough for helping me to eliminate this problem. I really enjoyed the individual personal training which has helped my stabilization and my stamina. The Pilates Institute research based technique adheres to a strict neutral pelvic alignment together with a mild contraction of the deep abdominals.

It is from this base that all modified moves in the foundation course develop, allowing motor control to open the way for muscle control as the student becomes familiar with the performance and instruction of the technique.

The Pilates Institute Method will help all participants to lengthen and strengthen muscles, improve core strength and quality of breath and allow everyday movement to be carried out with ease and elegance.
